U2 invite fans to Air Canada Centre stage in new music video
October 28th, 2015
If you weren’t one of the lucky cover band members to be invited onto Toronto’s Air Canada Centre stage during U2‘s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour this summer, the band has just launched a new music video that just be the next best thing.
Partnered with Apple Music, virtual reality app Vrse has released the music video for “Song For Someone” – a unique VR experience directed by Chris Milk that allows fans to feel as if you’re looking around the ACC stage as the band plays next to them. As the video progresses, we are transported into the homes and performance spaces of performers around the world singing the song together.
To watch the video, all you’ll need is your smart phone, your favourite swivel chair and (if you got them) Google Cardboard glasses. You can download Vrse in the iOS and Google Play app stores today.
You can read more about the project via Wired.
