The City of Toronto has issued a job posting for a Sector Development Officer (Music) today, working in the Economic Development & Culture division.

Among the responsibilities of the new position, the posting states the Music Sector Development Officer “leads, develops, and ensures effective delivery of economic development sector-specific programs and activities to enhance the local and international competitiveness of the City’s music sector and facilitates economic growth, export development and job creation.”
