“Sam Sniderman’s neon spinning discs are an integral part of music history in Canada. They are iconic, as was Sam Sniderman. He played a pivotal role in the music and cultural life of Toronto and for 44 years they were a landmark on Yonge Street. It is important to hold onto that heritage and I ask that Ryerson and the City of Toronto honour their commitment to remount and preserve the signs, returning them to their rightful location.”
